Utility Aid brings partners together at 2026 Partner Summit

Utility Aid was delighted to bring together partners, suppliers and industry colleagues for our Partner Summit on Tuesday 16 September.

The event provided a fantastic opportunity for our network to come together, share ideas and hear from experts across the energy industry, with a particular focus on supporting sub-brokers to learn, develop and grow their businesses.

Throughout the day, attendees heard from several Utility Aid colleagues who shared their knowledge, insights and experience across a range of topics, alongside valuable contributions from our supplier partners and industry experts.

Industry insights from our supplier partners

A key part of the Summit was bringing together industry experts to share their knowledge, market insight and practical support with our broker partners.

David Holmes, Director of Sales at SSE, shared how SSE is helping business customers navigate an evolving energy landscape, discussing the role of fixed and flexible supply contracts, dedicated customer support and practical energy solutions in helping organisations manage cost, carbon and resilience.

Tom Cunningham, Lead Market Analyst at ENGIE Supply UK, delivered an insightful Gas and Power Market Update, giving our broker partners an overview of current market conditions and the key factors influencing the energy landscape.

Kirk Mavraki, Head of TPI Sales at United Gas and Power (UGP), shared how UGP works with broker partners to support their customers, highlighting the range of products and services available and how these can help brokers deliver additional value to their customer base.

We were also delighted to be supported by our event sponsors and valued supplier partners, including SSE, ENGIE, United Gas and Power (UGP), Smartest Energy Business and Tap & Go Limited, who helped make the event possible and brought further expertise and insight to the day.

Expert panel Q&A

The Summit also featured an expert panel Q&A, bringing together perspectives from across the energy, broker and compliance landscape. The panel answered questions directly from our broker partners and shared their experiences and industry knowledge.

Our panel included:

  • Anna McDonald, Managing Director, Tap & Go Limited
  • David Madden, Director of Indirect Sales, ENGIE
  • Ben Mason, Commercial Manager, Utility Aid
  • Charlotte Dixon, Head of Compliance and Regulation, Utility Aid
  • Aaron Fryett, Procurement and Channel Co-ordinator, Utility Aid

A huge thank you to all of our speakers and panellists for giving their time, sharing their expertise and helping make the event such a valuable opportunity for our broker partners.

Strengthening our broker channel

Bringing our brokers, suppliers and industry experts together is an important part of how we continue to strengthen the channel. The Summit created opportunities to share knowledge, build relationships and explore how we can provide better support for customers.

Emily said:

“I am incredibly pleased with how our Utility Aid Aggregator Channel Showcase went. The event was designed to bring together industry experts, our supplier partners and our channel team to demonstrate how Utility Aid can support brokers to grow their businesses and thrive.

“The support we received from our supplier partners was incredible, and I am extremely grateful. Quite simply, we couldn’t do what we do without their continued support and commitment to our channel.

“It was fantastic to welcome so many of our existing broker partners and celebrate their successes, while also having the opportunity to meet new partners and hear about their ambitions for the future.

“We have been asked before why Utility Aid wants to operate in the aggregator space. For me, the answer is simple: we want to do it the right way.

“That means working with passionate, responsible brokers who genuinely want to do the best for their customers. It means giving them the support, supplier relationships, expertise and infrastructure they need to build sustainable businesses, while allowing them to grow at their own pace and in their own time.

“This event really represented what we want the Utility Aid channel to be about: strong relationships, collaboration, shared expertise and doing the right thing for our brokers and their customers.

“I’m incredibly proud of what the team has built, and I’m excited about where we take the channel next.”

The Summit was a great opportunity to share valuable information, explore new ideas and strengthen relationships across our network. With plenty of discussion and engagement throughout the day, it was fantastic to see such a positive atmosphere and so many people getting involved.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, spoke, sponsored and helped organise the event. We’re proud of what we achieved together and look forward to building on the conversations and connections made at the Summit.

Thank you to everyone who made the 2026 Utility Aid Partner Summit a success. We look forward to seeing what’s next.
